Les Nuages

The clouds in the sky are kind of untouchable materials. You can only see them. Even when you fly, you’re in the plane you can see them close but never touch them. So the clouds are like the dreams.
Dreams, white dreams on a blue sky, moving, changing shapes and colors.
They can acquire all different shapes, remind of the real things. They can be pillows on which we can sleep. Try to catch them. They represent a secret.
I make the mould for these pillows-dreams-clouds. Moulds made out of plaster, double forms and inside them is a shape and colors of the clouds, sky and pillows. I imprint the pillow shape made out of felt into the plaster.
Then, some of the moulds can be open, so you can look in and see the insides. But some are closed, like a secret, what is really in, nobody knows. The open ones can lead a bit but it is possible that in the closed moulds is something else. It is a secret and stays secret.
So the moulds with the caught clouds are like pieces of the sky on the ground, fallen clouds maybe or clouds brought down.

Oblaky

Oblaky na oblohe sú neuchopiteľným materiálom. Môžeme ich len vidieť. Aj keď lietame, sedíme v lietadle, hoci ich vidíme blízko, nemôžme sa ich dotknúť. A tak sú oblaky iba ako sny.
Biele sny na modrej oblohe, pohybujúce sa, meniace tvary a farby. Môžu nadobudnúť akékoľvek podoby, pripomínať reálne veci. Môžu byť vankúšmi, na ktorých spíme. Skúste ich chytiť. Reprezentujú tajomstvo.
Robím formy pre tieto vankúše-sny-oblaky. V dvojitých formách zo sadry je otlačený tvar a farba oblaku, oblohy a vankúša. Vtláčam tento tvar z látky do sadry.
Niektoré formy ostanú otvorené, aby sa dalo pozrieť dnu. Niektoré sú zatvorené, ako tajomstvo, ukryté pred očami všetkých. Nik nevie, čo je dnu. Otvorené môžu napovedať o obsahu, ale v zatvorených sa môže skrývať aj niečo iné. Sú tajomstvom a ním aj ostanú.
A tak sú formy ako časti oblohy prinesené alebo spadnuté na zem.
